Space tourist is son of NASA astronaut

Richard Garriott is poised to make history as the first child of an American astronaut to rocket into orbit. The 47-year-old said at a news conference in Houston Wednesday that the privilege will cost him the majority of his wealth.

More bill pains: Natural gas prices double

For the past several years, the price of natural gas has been steady in the $6.50 range for the month of July. This year, though, it peaked at $13. The U.S. Department of Energy on Wednesday warned customers that bills could be 40 percent higher for natural gas this winter.
