Tainted food may be behind illness of 500 Galveston inmates

Galveston County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Maj. Ray Tuttoilmondo said 543 prisoners experienced stomach cramps and other symptoms including vomiting and diarrhea on Wednesday night.
