Research could bring sight to the sightless

UT-Houston is one of the few places in the country using electrodes to activate cells in the brain that allow us to see. Ultimately, this research can be used to create a visual prosthetic.

Bus companies accused of transporting drugs

Federal authorities have indicted 18 suspects allegedly involved in a widespread drug ring that used commercial buses to transport illegal drugs from Mexico into Houston and other U.S. cities.

Early in the morning, federal agents were at the Americanos Bus Company before the passengers. They searched the main building as well as a maintenance and repair shed around the corner.
