Feds demand millions back from city of Houston

And now, the federal government is giving the city of Houston 45 days to forward a detailed plan to accomplish those re-inspections. The feds are also demanding the city return millions of dollars that was to be spent on home improvement programs.

Two boys killed intrailer home fire

Tax dollars down the hole

For weeks the city of Houston has been aware of a broken water line that pouring gallons of water into a hole. A local business owner called to complain; city crews came out, dug a bigger hole and just left it.
