Thieves make off with storm grates

It is believed thieves stole storm grates from the center’s parking lot on Beechnut near the Beltway to sell them as scrap metal.

Man shot and killed in Greenspoint armed robbery

A suspect in the fatal robbery was arrested a few hours after the shooting when, police said, he came to the scene of the shooting and was identified by one of the surviving victims and an eyewitness.
