Fuel prices mean you get less food for your buck

Every morning at the same time, rush hour starts inside the Houston Food Bank. But in the last year, the rising cost of food and the expense of transporting it meant it got 77 fewer tractor trailer loads of food than the year before.

Carjacking victim takes shotgun blast to face

Police said the victim walked into the Houston Fire Station No. 51 with a gunshot wound to her face.
